Map Development Process
The Playroom is a team deathmatch map set in a cluttered child’s room filled with scattered toys. I designed the layout to balance tight corridors and angled spaces for SMGs and shotguns with elevated sightlines for snipers and rifles. Strategic chokepoints and a central contested zone encourage dynamic, chaotic firefights while keeping gameplay engaging and balanced. The map was inspired by the playful yet chaotic feel of a room where toys are left all over the floor, creating opportunities for both tactical positioning and surprise encounters.
